Next day of having a doubt of kidney failure, I went to urologist for the first time in life.
熱がなければ腎盂腎炎ではありませんと言われる。
I was told I wasn't having kidney infection since I had no fever.
でも超音波エコーを受けますか？と聞かれた。はい。受けます。
I was asked "Do you still want to have an ultrasound scan?" I said "Yes."
超音波の検査で。。。技師が聞いて来た。「痛むのは左側のお腹ですか？」
While scanning my kidney, technician asked me if my left side of stomach was hurting.
「わかりませんが。。。たぶん。」 "I don't know...maybe."
「ちょっと待って下さい。」超音波の技師、席を外す。
"Please wait for a moment."Ultrasound scan technician left me alone.
ヒソヒソヒソ。。。何か話している。「腫瘍」って聞こえた気がする。
I could hear him whispering someone...i could hear the word "tumor".
次に年配の技師が再び超音波。そして若い技師が再びチェック。
Then elder technician scanned my kidney, then, young guy again.
私「何か見つかったんですか？」
"Did you find something in my left kidney?" I asked.
技師「それは先生の方から聞いて下さい」
"Please hear about it from doctor." they replied.
診察結果を待っている間の待ち時間が異様なまでに長く感じられた。
Waiting time till I hear that echo scan result from doctor seemed so long like crazy.
ドキドキして心臓が飛び出しそうだった。
My heart was beating like my heart would come out.
