病気腎移植ってご存知ですか？
Do you know transplant of repaired kidney?

私は先ほど、テレビのニュースで知りました。
I just happened to know him by news on TV.
They said that this doctor saved patient's life by transplant of kidney by early stage rcc.
それに関してはまだ国内では賛否両論あるようです。
So far, that seem still controversial in Japan.
確かに頂いた腎臓でがんになったらどうしよう？と不安に思うかもしれません。
I would think that patients would wonder if you become cancer by that transplant.
私は幸運にも進んだ医療を受けられたので、腫瘍部だけの摘出で済みました。
I was lucky to have improved surgery so, only the tumor was removed from kidney.
しかし、病院によっては初期の腎臓がんで全ての腎臓を摘出してしまいます。
But depending on hosipital, they take whole kidney out though it's in early stage.
私が入院していた時に、同じ病棟には沢山の腎移植患者さんやドナーさんがいました。
When I was in hospital, there were many kidney transplant patient and their donors.
まだドナーさんを待たれている方もたくさんいらしゃいました。
There were many patients who were still waiting for their donors.
週に何回も人工透析をしながら、ドナーさんを待っている患者さんの腕は痣だらけ。
Patients who are waiting for donors have so many blues on their arm by dialysis.
ドナーさんを待っている間に他の臓器まで悪くなって行く患者さんもいます。
There're patients whose other organ get damaged while waiting for donors.
本当に見ていて痛々しくて、早くそういった事から解放されて欲しいと思いました。
I really hope that patient get free from those pain they are going through soon.
だから、私は多少のリスクを負っても両者が合意すれば病気腎移植もありかと思います。
So, though it might be risky, if two of them agreed, repaired kidney transplant should be done.
そして１つと2/3残された腎臓を大切にしないなと改めて思うのでした。
And again, I thought that I should take care of your one and 2/3 left kidney well.
